Roger Yap Confirmed That He Is The Ex-PBA Player Mayor Vico Sotto Talks About

Former Purefoods TJ Hotdogs guard Roger Yap confirmed that he is the ex-PBA player whom Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto mentioned during his Facebook Live session on Tuesday.

Yap who is the former teammate of Marc Pingris in Purefoods clarified his side particularly on disrespecting city hall’s front-liners.

“Ako ‘yun. Pero hindi ako nagwala. Kasi bakit ako magwawala eh tumutulong na nga yung LGU namin sa mga tao,” said Yap in his interview with Spin.Ph.

What he really wanted to happen during that time is to maintain order while the front-liners distribute relief goods to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Yap also mentioned that the issue between him and the Pasig City Hall is now sorted out and he even agreed to tandem with Pingris for a basketball clinic that the local government is planning to set once the nCoV pandemic is over.

“Hindi man kami nag shake hands, nag shoulder bump kami after. I hope he clears this soon.
