RJ Jazul Hailed As PBA Press Corps Mr. Quality Minutes

Phoenix veteran guard RJ Jazul and the Philippine Cup Game Five semifinals match of Barangay Ginebra and Meralco were included in the PBA Press Corps honour roll list for virtual Awards Night.

Mr. Jazul will be given Quality Minutes award for his contribution to the Phoenix campaign in the last ‘bubble’ PBA Philippine Cup.

From the bench, the 34-year-old playmaker averaged 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 17 games.

This included his career-high 33 points in Phoenix’s 110-101 ousting of five-time All-Filipino Cup champion San Miguel for the quarterfinals spot.

Appointed Game of the Bubble by reporters covering a PBA beat the infiltration of No. 1 Gin Kings vs. No. 5 Bolts in Game Five of their semis series featuring Scottie Thompson’s buzzer-beating triple for the PBA Finals seat.

The two-in-one awards night will also feature 2019 awardees who will be honored on March 7 from TV5 Media Center and hosted by Cignal TV.

Others on the honor roll list are CJ Perez (Scoring Champion) and the All-Rookie Team (Aaron Black, Arvin Tolentino, Roosevelt Adams, Barkley Ebona, and Renzo Subido).
