Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque has confirmed that the request of the City Council of Bacolod to extend the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the City of Smiles is now approved.
Roque made his confirmation through the radio program of Mercado Publiko in DYRL this morning.
He was also asked by one of the program’s hosts if Bacolod will be covered by the Social Amelioration Program or SAP since it got its approval to impose another two weeks of ECQ.
Midway in the program, they have also reached out to Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, one of the proponents to extend ECQ to get his reaction now that their appeal got its approval from the national office.
