Here is the PBA live streaming video of the clash between the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the NLEX Road Warriors which will take place at the Angeles University Foundation Sports Arena & Cultural Center in Angeles City, Quezon City. The game time is at 6:45 PM on October 11, 2020.
Most probably for the first time, the Gin Kings will play without the usual support of their loyal fans in their basketball championship campaign.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the league was forced to cancel their earlier All-Filipino schedule but after seeing the success of the NBA bubble the league got a model and that’s the most likely the kick-start and the birth of the PBA bubble in Pampanga. Just like the NBA bubble in Orlando, the PBA will also have empty seats for fans yet they will install large monitors to give the players a live game feel.
For head coach Tim Cone, coming to their 6:45 PM game, he’s concern is more on their internal preparation rather than designing plays to topple the Road Warriors.
“We’re a little bit more concerned about preparing ourselves rather than preparations for NLEX at this point,” Cone said. “Just the day before the game (on Sunday) is the time that we’re getting LA (Tenorio) and Japeth (Aguilar) back into the lineup, so we don’t know if we’ll get contributions from them in our first game.”
“But we certainly have guys who can step and fill the void, so that’s who we’ll go with,” added Cone. “One thing’s for sure, everybody is excited to play again.”
For the Road Warriors, coach Yeng lost a major piece in their center position as JP Erram got moved to the TNT Tropang Gilas yet he now got his deadly backcourt duo back. Likewise, NLEX fans should be excited on the arrival of another sleek guard rookie in Mike Ayonayon.
Ayonayon is one of the prime catalysts of the San Juan Knights why they reach deep in the playoffs and potential for another Finals appearance.
