Here is the PBA live streaming video of the clash between the Alaska Aces and the Meralco Bolts which will take place at the Angeles University Foundation Sports Arena & Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga. The game will start at 4:00 PM on October 14, 2020.
Both teams, the Meralco Bolts and the Alaska Aces wants to bounce back after a loss in their previous games, one of which is a blowout game of the Meralco Bolts against the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters.
After a blowout-loss against the Fuel Masters, the Meralco Bolts wants to win their second game in the PBA Bubble, but without Raymond Almazan, their dominant center in the paint, there will be no one to protect the rim.
Because of the absence of Almazan, the forwards of Meralco should always protect the paint throughout the entirety of the game.
“He was off for seven months and joined us in the bubble one week ago. With only five days of practice, we decided to give him a chance to get in better condition before he plays to avoid another injury,” shared by the Head Coach of the Meralco Bolts, Norman Black.
In the last game against the Fuel Masters, Chris Newsome was not really that productive. The guard played for 33 minutes, but only scored 12 points and only hit 5 of his 10 attempts on the field. He also could have finished the game with a double-double performance.
Newsome should step up this afternoon if he wants to win this game.
Meanwhile, the Alaska Aces wants to be victorious against their opponent this afternoon so that they can get their first win in the PBA restart.
Vic Manuel and Abu Tratter can dominate in the paint with their outstanding low-post moves because of the absence of Almazan of the Meralco Bolts. But, let us not get ahead of ourselves because somebody from the Meralco Bolts might step up to defend the rim against these masterful big men of the Alaska Aces.
Tratter and Manuel will be the focal points in terms of defense by the Bolts, because in the previous game, neither one of them was rusty. Both of the forwards finished the game with double-digit points, 17 points for Tratter and 15 points for the “Muscle Man”.
