Opposition Senator Leila de lima’s camp will hold an online concert this Wednesday in commemoration of the fourth year of their alleged unjust detention.
In support of De Lima, talented musicians, artists, activists, leaders and religious, inside and outside the country, will once again come together for another night of “online community jamming” titled “Leilaya! Mga Tinig at Himig ng Paglaya.”
It will be aired this Wednesday, at 7:30 PM via livestream on the senator’s official Facebook page and Free Leila de Lima Movement (FLM) FB page.
Performers include Ebe Dancel, Bugoy Drilon, Gary Granada, Bituin Escalante, Bayang Barrios, Cookie Chua, Jim Paredes, Agot Isidro, True Faith, singers from America and bands from abroad.

De Lima is recognized by his supporters as the human rights champion and the Duterte administration’s strongest critic.
On February 24, 2017, De Lima was jailed for charges she called bogus and based solely on alleged allegations.
Recently, the senator was acquitted and the court dismissed one of the three cases against her.
The online concert was organized by the “Free Leila de lima Movement” (FLM) and the “Committee for the Freedom of Leila M de Lima (Free Leila Committee).
It was first held on August 27, 2020, entitled “Leilaya! Tinig at Musika para sa Diwang Malaya” as a commemoration of the 61st birthday of the Senator and was attended by more than 70 musicians.
