Novak Djokovic Defeats Milos Raonic, Enters Australian Open Quarterfinals

Reigning champion Novak Djokovic enters the Australian Open quarterfinals at the expense of Canada’s Milos Raonic.

Heading into the match, Djokovic suffered an injury in a match against Taylor Fritz last Friday. Despite this, he still managed to capture the victory.

In the defeat, Raonic was able to steal a set, specifically the second set, against Djokovic, 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.

With the win, Djokovic became the second tennis player to reach 300 Grand Slam match wins.

Djokovic will face Serbian tennis star Alexander Zverev of Germany in the semifinal round of the tourney.
