The Nets are looking to make a back-to-back win while the Raptors wanted to extend their franchise-best winning streak record further and make it 16 in a row when the 2019-20 NBA season resumes in Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn squad is coming from a win against the Indiana Pacers last February 11 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
With only 5.2 seconds remaining in the final frame of that match, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie makes a 21-foot step-back jumper and put heartaches on the hearts of Pacers fans. Brooklyn played without their scoring leader Kyrie Irving yet they were able to capture the victory.
Dinwiddie led the Nets in scoring with his 21 points output while teammate Joe Harris added 15 points.
For team Toronto on the other hand, the winning streak is still very much alive for the defending champion after they demolished the partially new-look Minnesota Timberwolves last February 11.
Toronto used its speed to dominate that game where they made 35 points. Likewise, the Canada based squad was a force inside the paint as they managed to deliver 60 points compared to only 38 from the Timberwolves.
Pascal Siakam led the winning squad with his 34 points performance while Kyle Lowry, OG Anunoby and Richard Holis-Jefferson scored 27, 25 and 21 points respectively.
