Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving is still determined to replace the current NBA logo with Kobe Bryant’s silhouette in it.
Irving was among those who launched the petition in 2020 when the Los Angeles Lakers star died in a helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna and seven others.
Irving said it was time to give Bryant recognition by putting him on the NBA logo in exchange for basketball legend Jerry West’s silhouette.
Irving considers Bryant to be his mentor and best friend.
Bryant is one of the best players in the NBA to win five Lakers championships and 2008 Most Valuable Player.
