The Capitals wanted to stop their losing woes which now reached four in a row while the Golden Coolers wanted to log another victory to make it six after 27 attempts when the 2019-20 MPBL Lakan Cup continues in Valenzuela this evening.

The QC squad is coming from a defeat against the Bulacan Kuyas last January 30 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

It was a tough third quarter for both squads where they only managed to collect a combined 22 points. Yet, that was the turning point of the Kuyas for them to take home the victory.

Clark Derige and Mark Olayon each scored 13 points to lead the Capitals yet weren’t enough for them to win.

For the Rizal squad, on the other hand, they were able to escape against the Bicol Volcanoes last January 30 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

The Golden Coolers were able to hold off the late rally orchestrated by the Volcanoes.

Mark Benitez had a double-double output in that match with 17 markers and 10 boards while Jayvee Vidal delivered 14 points and five rebounds in that victory.

The San Juan Knights is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Mindoro Tamaraws at 4:00 P.M. on February 8, 2020 live from the Valenzuela Astrodome, Valenzuela City.
