The United Royals are eyeing to make a three-game winning streak while the Strikers will try to make a bounce-back and return to their winning ways when the 2019-20 MPBL Lakan resumes this evening in Laguna.
The Ilonggo squad is coming from a 10-point victory versus the Sarangani Marlins last January 30 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.
The United Royals used the second half to orchestrate their scoring blast where they piled a lead as much as 12 points. Likewise, they made sure that the turnovers they had forced were converted to points in favor of them.
Richard Escoto was the leading scorer of Iloilo in that said outing where he delivered 24 points and four boards while teammate Donald Gumaru chipped in with 18 markers.
The Bacoor City squad, on the other hand, fell short on their last timeout when they faced the Manila Stars at the STRIKE Gymnasium last February 3.
The Stars used the paint to dominate them where they scored 44 points in the low post. Also, Manila was more efficient in their running game where they produced 25 fastbreak points.
RJ Ramirez led Bacoor with his 15 points and four rebounds performance while Mark Joseph Pangilinan added ten markers.
