Marcelito Pomoy Reaches America’s Got Talent Grand Finals

Filipino contestant Marcelito Pomoy has reached the biggest stage of America’s Got Talent, the grand finals round.

Using his trademark singing skills, Pomoy performed Andrea Bocelli’s classic “Time to Say Goodbye”. Singing that music is difficult particularly for an average person but with his talents, Pomoy makes it looks easy where he later received praise from the show’s judges Howie Mandel, Alesha Dixon, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell.

“I gotta say that I believe that you have the best shot of winning this whole thing. This is the semifinals and you raised your game. The woman in you was just as good as she was the last time. But you as a man, you went up a notch. She tried to stay up with you but she couldn’t,” Mandel said.

For Alesha, Pomoy’s choice of song helped him to standout.

“It really enabled you to shine. I just love everything about you Marcelito. That was a fabulous performance, well done,” Dixson said.

For Heidi, admitted that in this edition of AGT, Pomoy is one of her favorites.

For Simon who is tagged as the judge who is hard to impress. He advised Pomoy to take a bigger risk as the show now reaches its Finale. Likewise, he said that the Filipino contestant has a massive career waiting for him.

“America’s Got Talent: The Champions” finale is set next week.
