Philippines’ pride Marcelito Pomoy just named as the third runner-up in the just concluded America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Pomoy who mesmerized not only the judges of the show but also the millions of televiewers who followed the said competition worldwide.

In his final performance, Pomoy performed the famous “Beauty and the Beast” theme song in the tunes of Peabo Bryson and Celine Dion. Yet, though he gained praises from Simon Cowell (one of the show’s judges) still the judge finds it as “predictable”.

“He just wanted to say thank you. Thank you so much to everybody. This is a big opportunity for him. Thank you so much,” said Pomoy’s wife who stand with him on the stage after announcing his award.

One of the judges sent love to the Pinoy falsetto singer.

“I love you so much. You have the most beautiful voice. I should actually say the most beautiful voices inside of you. You are a champion. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us,” Heidi Klum said.

Pomoy is one of the 40 participants of the 2020 American Got Talent: The Champions who came from different countries. These competitors are either winners, finalists, live round participants and other notable entries from their respective countries who joined their local AGT and the Got Talent show.

The grand winner went to Mumbai’s based dance crew, the V.Unbeatable.

  1. AGT is a venue to show your talents. Judges are human prone to mistake and not precise in casting their judgment. As contestants of the show, we must be considerate or sympathetic to whatever we have achieved. For Marcelito Pomoy of the Philippines who got the #3 stake is something we should be proud of. This is a wide-reaching competition and reaching the final showdown is a wide market to such individual talent. Mabuhay ang Pilipino.
