Former Barangay Ginebra San Miguel guard Teytey Teodoro is scheduled to return with the Batangas City Tanduay Athletics in MPBL.
The report was confirmed by Jean Alabanza a team official of Athletics squad.
Teodoro will suit up with his new basketball club on Saturday when Batangas will face the Valenzuela City Carga Backload Solution in the league’s main game.
Currently, the Tanduay backed ball-club is in its three-game winning streak and at the number sixth spot of the South Division.
Teytey joined the PBA via the 2018 PBA draft where he was picked by the Columbian Dyip in the third round.
He was left unsigned and the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel wasted no time to pick him up to join their 44th PBA campaign.
Gin Kings head coach Tim Cone impressed with Teodoro’s basketball skill and he was even compared by the most winningest coach to his former players like Johnny Abarrientos and Willie Miller.
He then became one of the well-loved players of Ginebra fans. Each time he checked-in from the table official, team “NSD” exploded with cheers.
For sure that trend will continue and his presence tonight in their game in Valenzuela City is one of the main features.
