Gilas Will Go Up Against Serbia With An Unhealthy Team

The Gilas Pilipinas’ men are currently nursing their injuries. Ange Kouame, Dwight Ramos, and Carl Tamayo are still nursing their injuries just three days before the game against Serbia in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.

“We’re banged up. There’s no question we came out of the third window limping,” Tab Baldwin shared during the pre-event press conference on Monday.

Ramos, who is currently having a strained groin, remains uncertain for the Gilas’ two games on July 1 and on July 2.

Kouame is not also that healthy due to a knee injury. while Tamayo had a left ankle sprain.

“Carl Tamayo I wouldn’t say he’s had a setback but I would say that now that he’s trying to go full speed, he’s experiencing quite a bit of discomfort in the ankle but I think that he’ll push through,” Baldwin said.
