The Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws is scheduled for a head-to-head match against the UST Golden Tigresses at 3:30 P.M. on March 8, 2020 live from the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
The Golden Tigresses wanted to avenge their season-opener defeat while the Lady Tamaraws will try to book their second win when the UAAP Season 82 returns in Pasay City this afternoon.
Last year’s finalist of the Women’s Volleyball absorbed a defeat versus a promising championship contender, the NU Lady Bulldogs last Wednesday.
Team UST was all pumped-up as the squad entered the MOA Arena even their fans who are present in the said venue. Probably one of the reasons is that they will finally see the comeback of EJ Laure as she tandem with her sister Eya Laure who was the last season’s Rookie of the Year.
Yet, despite having the Laure sisters in the Growling Tigresses side, they were short to stop the rampaging Lady Bulldogs led by Risa Sato, Margot Mutshima and company.
For team FEU, on the other hand, they’re coming from a sweeping victory versus the University of the East Lady Warriors with the scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-17.
That game also marked the return of Lycha Ebon back to the Tamaraw’s lineup.
“First game eh. Eto yung mage-gauge namin kung gaano katibay yung preparation na ginawa namin,” said FEU head coach George Pascua.
