DOH Expect New COVID-19 Cases To Spike, Calls It 'Artificial Rise'

The health department calls it as ‘artificial rise’ as the government has increased its testing capacity.

As per the report of ABS-CBN news earlier today, China’s aid to fight the new coronavirus has arrived. Medical supplies, personal protective equipment, and COVID-19 test kits were among the items that landed at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

Likewise, there are 50,000 COVID-19 test kits donated by Jack Ma and Manny Pacquiao plus another 3,000 test kits and a PCR machine from Singapore as per the tweet of DFA Secretary Teddy Locsin Jr.

As of 4:00 PM this afternoon, DOH reports a total of 380 confirmed cases, 17 patients recovered from the disease while 25 have died.
