COVID-19 Confirmed Cases In The Philippines Is Now At 140, 11 Deaths As Per DOH

The Department of Health announced on Sunday, March 15 that the confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines now reached 140 while the total number of deaths due to the new coronavirus is now at 11.

According to the said report, a total of 29 new infected patients were added to the list while three more patients died due to the said virus.

“As of 12nn today, the Department of Health reports 29 new cases (PH112-PH140) of COVID 19. Total of number of cases is now at 140” mentioned on DOH’s news bulletin.

“Today, DOH reports 3 additional deaths:

PH9 – 9th PH death
86 year old American male from Marikina City
With travel history from USA and Korea
Expired March 14, 2020, 2:42 a.m.

PH54 – 10th PH death
40-year-old Filipino male from Pasig City
No history of travel to foreign countries and no history of exposure 14 days prior to onset of symptoms
Expired March 15, 2020, 1:45 a.m.

PH39 – 11th PH death
64-year-old Filipino male from Negros Oriental
Has history of travel to Greenhills
Expired on March 15, 2020, 11:09 a.m.
