Here is the performance of Ms. Claire Singgoat where she sang “Rise Up” popularized by R&B artist, Andra Day in ABS-CBN’s “The Voice Teens Philippines 2020”.
Claire is from Malasiqui, Pangasinan whose mother is a SPED teacher and her father is a former company worker.
To help her family, she uses her spare time as a wedding singer and by joining an amateur singing contest where she competed with the reigning The Voice Kids Philippines winner Vanjoss Bayaban.
Claire was able to turn the chairs of the four judges with her powerful performance particularly when she about to hit the song’s chorus.
Here are some of the feedback from the judges convincing her to join their respective group.
“Love the song choice, isang section lang bago nag-chorus may ginawa ka dun na I really-really liked and that’s why I turned,” said Bamboo.
“For us yung talagang hinahanap namin yung someone na may magic. Maganda ang boses mo powerful sya,” said Ms. Lea Salonga.
“Ang nagustuhan ko yung damdamin mo. There’s really special right there. You were just free up there, talagang napa-rise up ako sa performance mo ha”, said Apl. De. Ap.
“Meron ka kasing command sa boses mo na talagang convincing. When you sang the line na ‘rise up’ na talagang parang tayo ay bumangon sa ating pagkadapa,” said Ms. Sarah Geronimo.
