As the start of the 2021 PBA Season is coming near, the PBA agrees to trade Christian Standhardinger and Greg Slaughter.
The Northport Batang Pier will surely miss the presence of “The Bulldozer” in the paint regarding his prowess to dominate in the paint against big and strong defenders.
In his last season, while playing for the BatangPier, he averaged 20 points and led the league in rebounds as he averaged an outstanding 12 rebounds per game.
The Barangay Ginebra is well known for its firepower in terms of its offense. Not only that but its defense as well. With the addition of the phenomenal Standhardinger, the Ginebra squad will be hard to defeat.
As for the Batang Pier, they are going to acquire Greg Slaughter. Although he suffered many injuries and missed many games because of this, the former Ateneo big man can still provide defense against speedy, attacking guards such as Jio Jalalon and his former-teammates, LA Tenorio and Scottie Thompson.
One of the most well-recognized teams in the PBA, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, the team which Greg Slaughter played for six seasons, is now going to let go of their faithful Fil-Am center in exchange for a more excellent and skillful big man, Christian Standhardinger, the first pick of the 2017 PBA draft.
“It was a good trade, beneficial to both teams,” shared by the management of the Batang Pier.
