World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Terence Crawford will be the eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao, in his return to action.
Rumors grew that the Pacquiao-Crawford fight would continue when Top Rank Promotions chief Bob Arum announced that there was a good chance it would continue.
“Obviously, it’s more money for Terence. Terence would prefer a Pacquiao fight than anyone else,” Arum said in an interview with Barbershop Conversations.
It is possible that the Pacquiao camp will announce this week whether Crawford is the Filipino champion who will face him in a mega blockbuster fight.
“We’re going to see what happens, and we’ll know this week whether Pacquiao-Crawford can happen,” said Arum.
It will be recalled that some reports released last week that Pacquiao will ask for a $ 40 million paycheck to fight Crawford.
Crawford, on the other hand, will receive $10 million.
