Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum said that the decision on whether or not the bout between Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Terence Crawford will push through would be announced this week.
According to Arum, there are investors who are willing to withdraw money to cover the very expensive site fee so that the said megafight can continue.
“Somebody is willing to spend big money to get the Crawford-Pacquiao fight and the site fee, that then distorts everything,” said Arum.
If you recall, Pacquiao was in the care of Arum before he was released from the Top Rank in 2017.
Earlier, the Fighting Senator demanded $ 40-million for his fight against Crawford.
Aside from Crawford, Arum also announced that some of Pacquiao’s possible faces are unified welterweight champion Errol Spence and Mikey Garcia.
