Prima Donnas’ Director Gina Alajar said Monday that they are already preparing the story of book 2 of the series.
“Meron nang plot, meron nang istorya ang creatives. So we will just iron it out, pagdudugtong-dugtungin na lang ‘yan and it’s going to be exciting,” said the actress-director.
When the characters in the series learned the good news, they were very grateful for the new opportunity.
“Alam ko po na ito po yung gift namin ni God dahil meron po kaming nabibigay na lesson sa mga viewers namin. Very thankful po ako and sobrang saya ko po,” said Jillian Ward, who portrays Mayi in the Kapuso series.
“It means so much to me bilang Len Len kasi parang it gave another chance para maipakita ko yung hindi ko nagawa because nga hindi ako nakabalik,” added Sofia Pablo, who have not been able to return to the taping of the series due to labour protocols on COVID-19 for children aged 15 and under.
Althea Ablan and Elijah Alejo are also grateful that the cast members of the series will continue to work.
“Sobrang saya, kasi parang hindi na namin kayang pakawalan ‘yung isa’t isa. Parang puwedeng kami na lang hanggang dulo,” said Althea who portrays as Donna Belle.
“Grabe po, masyado na po ako na-attach sa kanila,” said Elijah, who portrays Brianna, the most hated character in the series.
GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon also received praise for the series for its high ratings.
“Sobrang kinilabutan ako kasi siyempre, coming from your big boss, na na-appreciate niya yung show namin. All our hard work paid off. Talagang masaya ako,” said Aiko Melendez.
