The 28-year old star of the TNT Tropang Giga will miss the upcoming season due to personal reasons.
The Tropang Giga squad will surely miss the production of their skillful guard who always try to score by attacking the rim, set up a pull-up jumper or just simply catch and splash.
We all do know that Bong Ravena and the rest of the squad went short-handed against the Kings and their mastermind, Tim Cone, because their high-scoring guard, Parks, suffered a strained left calf.
Parks shared this in his Instagram account regarding his excuse to miss the nearing PBA Season.
“It is with a heavy heart that I will have to excuse myself and not partake in this year’s PBA season due to personal reasons which in particular, my family,” Parks shared.
“It was not an easy decision to make, especially since I’ve been in constant talks with TNT management but right now, this is what’s best for me and my family,” Parks added.
Parks was a major part of the TNT Tropang Giga’s run to the Philippine Cup Finals. But, he only played only one game during their clash against the Barangay Ginebra.
“I will always be grateful for the opportunity to represent TNT and be part of such as special team and culture. Hopefully one day, once everything is resolved, I can come back to the team and help bring a championship to TNT,” Parks said.
