Ms. Alice Dixson gave her followers on social media a quick tour of the New Clark City Sports Hub or one of the venues that will be used for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
Also, Ms. Dixson was accompanied by Arrey Perez who is the Deputy Director General of Philippines Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee and Juanito Martin Abaquin, the Director of Athlete’s Village.
The first stop of the tour is the Athlete’s Village where they have shown the main arrival area, athlete’s dorm and also the basketball/badminton court located between building A and building B.
Ms. Dixson also asked an important question which was also tackled in the Philippine Senate hearing several days ago.
“What happens to these buildings after the games?” asked the former Binibining Pilipinas International.
“The BCDA (Bases Conversion and Development Authority) the one who manages the property and the buildings, they have a legacy project so that it won’t be a white elephant. So, after the games they can have events here and then they can reuse or use the facility for rentals,” said Mr. Abaquin.
Yet, probably the most awaited part of the over 11 minutes video was when “Dyesebel” took the plunge on the Olympic certified swimming pool.
