The official social media page of Raffy Tulfo In Action has reported a possible coronavirus case in Binondo, Manila.
According to team RTIA, they received an email at 6 PM yesterday evening coming from a health worker who says that he is working at the Metropolitan Medical Center (MMC) in Binondo, Manila.
That unnamed person wanted to inform the health authorities that there was a Chinese national who came from Wuhan who got admitted in the said hospital and was showing symptoms like of a coronavirus.
Here’s the message:
“Possible CORONAVIRUS case in BINONDO?
DOH, PLEASE INVESTIGATE.”
Later, team RTIA had an update and this time around, they received a text at 9:21 PM yesterday evening from Cong. Eric Yap of ACT-CIS.
In that text, it says that the Congressman got a confirmation from a doctor who works in Metropolitan Medical Center (MMC) that they have a patient suspected with coronavirus.
Here’s the message:
UPDATE re possible coronavirus case in Binondo:
9:21 pm, Sunday, January 26, 2020.
Standard Operating Procedure raw kasi na they (MMC) cannot refuse patient from being admitted to their facility at hindi rin nila pwedeng basta ilipat unless may confirmation na from the swab test result.
They will keep us updated.
At 10:45 PM also yesterday evening, team RTIA received another update on the said case where the unnamed doctor sent a letter to Cong. Yap. A portion of that letter says that the PUI (person under investigation) is in stable condition and they’re currently waiting for the result of the test.
Here is the message:
