The Department of Health just announced new 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the nation, the total number now jumps to 64.
According to the report, of these 12 new infected patients, eight are males and four are females. They are currently confined in different hospitals: The Medical City, Ortigas Hospital and Health Care Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Ortigas Hospital and Health Care Center, Marikina Valley Medical Center, Bataan St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center.
Six of the patients’ addresses were already identified, one is from Mandaluyong, another from Pasig, two from Makati, one from Manila and one from Rizal. The remaining six addresses of the six COVID-19 struck patients are still for validation.
Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III is urging the public to help the government for contact tracing of infected individuals.
“Please contact DOH and call the designated hotline at (02) 8-651-7800 loc 1149-1150 for any new leads. For those who are confirmed cases, please let our hospitals take care of you,” Duque said.
